2022 AGM and new CEO

Last week we held our 2022 Annual General Meeting (AGM) at our offices in Osborne Park. This year was much more significant for us than presenting the Annual Report – though we always enjoy that, too…

After a wonderful Smoking Ceremony to welcome our guests, we heard from Board Chair Angus Buchanan who moved through the formalities to bring us to the afternoon celebration. This year we said farewell to our CEO of 8 years, Rosie Lawn, and welcomed Kate Fulton to the role.

Rosie has worked with Avivo for almost 18 years and has been in the role of CEO for the last 8 years. She has had an enormous impact on Avivo’s development and in the sector where she is a tireless warrior for social justice.

Kate has been with Avivo for 10 years. She is a passionate leader, committed to developing a world where everyone is included and valued. She started her career as a Support Worker before studying Social Work and holding many different advocacy and consulting roles in the UK. Kate’s role in Avivo’s leadership has contributed to our evolution over the past decade.

We’re excited to be moving in to Avivo’s Next Chapter with Kate at the helm, as we stay true to our vision of everyone living as active citizens in community, where everyone matters and everyone’s contribution is valued.

You can watch the recorded livestream (1hr 16 mins) of Avivo’s 2022 AGM here.

And you can download the accessible Annual Report here, and the interactive Annual Report here.
