Defend our NDIS

At Avivo we stand for social justice.

Over the past three years we’ve watched the NDIS drifting into a welfare model that’s being driven by a scarcity mindset. We’re seeing a fractured and complicated system that decides ‘reasonable and necessary’ by monetary cost, not human potential. 

We work with everyday people, every day, and we see firsthand the impact this is having on their lives and their families. We are seeing some NDIS participants having their plans significantly cut, leaving them without the funding they need to live their life in a way that makes sense to them within their own home and community.

We’re imploring the Federal Government to remember their ‘WHY’.

To remember that a person’s wellbeing, happiness and human rights are not things to be monetised.
