We are an organisation who believes in people and the power of communities. We are focused on our employee experience supporting you to thrive – we are focused on growth and development, safety and wellness and appreciation and recognition.
Our Avivo community is here to support you to thrive.

Avivo Teams
We know that we all thrive when we are surrounded by people who can support us, share their wisdom and guide us when needed. That’s why we have our community teams – teams of Support Workers who together deliver services and supports locally. We have around 1000 Support Workers who make up almost 100 community teams right across Western Australia. Our teams meet regularly, engage in personal and professional development, and are ready to be there for you.
Team Roles
In our community teams, we’ve designed specific Team Roles that support both function and connection within and across our network. These roles emerged organically, as individuals sought ways to contribute meaningfully and strengthen their teams. Each role is structured to encourage collaboration, share ideas, and ensure consistency throughout the organisation.
Our approach fosters a culture where everyone plays a part, with the belief that when each person carries their “spoonful,” no one has to bear the entire load. This philosophy promotes a sense of belonging, where every team member adds value, creating a supportive and engaged environment. By empowering individuals through these roles, we nurture growth and development, while connecting teams with the wider organisation, ensuring cohesive and well-supported Team Role networks.

How we’re organised
Our customers are the reason we do what we do, and our structure reflects that. At Avivo, senior leadership is in service of our mission to provide practical individualised support for people to live a good life in a community that values and includes them. We have teams of specialists who work alongside our community teams including Nurses, Positive Behaviour Support specialists, Dementia Champions, an Individualised Community Living Strategy (ICLS) team and Carers support. When you choose Avivo, you’re choosing quality, safety and connection.
