As a society, we’ve celebrated and glorified figures such as explorers, politicians and military leaders for their grand gestures or individual achievements, and we’ve built monuments to honour them. The Support Project celebrates a very different hero: the quiet, often overlooked but incredibly important and profound contributions of support workers.
We are celebrating the monumental differences made by everyday individuals, working quietly and tirelessly to improve lives through the countless small, meaningful moments they create.

The Support Project is all about redefining the heroes we celebrate in our communities, by recognising the people who dedicate themselves to ensuring everyone in our society is able to live their most meaningful lives.
This unique initiative showcases the power of genuine human connection through the personal stories of real everyday heroes among us, and larger-than-life artistic monuments that are designed to spark conversation and prompt reflection on the power and importance of these relationships.
